Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a third-person platform/action game for Game Boy. It was developed by B.I.T.S. and published by LJN Toys. It was released for the Game Boy in 1992. It is based on the film of the same name.

The game is a side-scroller. The player moves from left to right, shooting enemies and jumping over obstacles in the platforming stages. There are also time-limited mini-games, such as re-arranging wires to form a connected path, as well as other types of stages. The stages are based on key scenes from the film.

Early on, the player controls John Connor, fighting his way to Skynet Central. In the first level requires John to destroy a series of power generators in order from tallest to shortest (fourth, then first, then fifth, and then second and finally third) in order to disable the electrical field surrounding the complex.

Afterwards, he must fight his way to the assembly area to find a T-800 units and reprogram it in a series of circuit puzzles by connecting the energy sources with the bits that have to be changed to zero.

The reprogrammed T-800 is then send back to the past. The player now controls the T-800 and must protect the young John Connor from the attacks of the T-1000. On their way to Skynet Central, the T-1000 chases John Connor and the T-800 using a truck. The player has destroy the truck by subsequently shooting of various front parts.

After reaching Skynet Central, the T-800 has to find its way through the central in order to meet the T-1000 unit in a final stand of. There the T-1000 can be destroyed by pushing it back along the way to finally throw it into the molten metal.
