Good job[]

Good job, man. Looks good. - Sec 1971 01:09, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks man really appreciate that. The future war is one of the most important aspects of the terminator series, yet it is only now that the article is being made. I'm going to heavily expand on it and add even more future war articles. - Heyann 01:11, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Yah this is great!
Where did the phrase "The War Against The Machines" come from? I've been hearing the phrase "Future War" a lot lately, but just realized I don't know where that phrase came from either. Any ideas on this one? Thanks! --Kanamekun 21:46, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Anybody mind if I clean up the SCC section to add the various battles, but point out the main pages of the particular battles. I like what you have done Heyann... this is certainly a section that has been a long time coming. - Sluace 22:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Go ahead, it does need some work. It goes from being general to being really specific. Heyann 23:34, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

What's the point?[]

Is it just me, or does it seem like the more the resistance does to try to stop Skynet, the more advanced it becomes? Not to mention, if Skynet is prevented from ever being created, then John Connor would never even be born (as there would be no reason for Kyle to come back in time). --sec_1971 02:49, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

I was really disappointed when they setup such a clear predestination paradox with Charles Fischer... and then when they implied there was only a single timeline (when Jesse went back into the past but had come out of a "different future" because the "future had changed"). While exciting from one perspective, I think it'd be much more interesting if Skynet existed in multiple future timelines... and John Connor had to lead a temporal team to wipe it out of all timelines. I could even see a civil war between rival Skynets... with one Skynet allying up with John Connor, to prevent another Skynet from winning!
Oh well, they could still go down that path since the time travel is pretty loosely explained at this point. --Kanamekun 04:02, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Deletion[]

I marked this for deletion as I question the relevance if this page. This page seems to propose that its a some sort of term or a phrase widely used in the franchise. So far I cant remember any such thing. At least, the page title should be spelled with lower case. I apologize if I am wrong. In case of that, the page should be expanded more to explain the origin of the phrase. I open up a discussion about this matter in case anyone have any thoughts about it. I think the page should be reworked into a disambiguation page after someone gives the term a citation source. --TX55TALK 11:29, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
After thinking over it, I'am fine with having a page about the topic. But why not just call it The future war. I am not sure how english language rules are, but when I see a sentence like this with first letter of each word capitalized, I automatically assume its a title or a specific phrase which are used. Am I correct? That's why I at least suggest to have it lower case. TX55, can you elaborate your idea more? A disambiguation page doesnt really say much about a specific topic? Any thoughts about the actual page(s)? Ascaaear 21:30, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
My idea is we keep each page separate, and reorganized this page into a disambiguation page. --TX55TALK 04:05, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
