We actually see the complete endo of this terminator after the nuclear bomb blasts his skin off... can anyone give a visual diagnosis of his endo based on what a 888 endo looks like? My guess is that the terminator is actually a triple-8... just since I'm betting the show didn't have a T-800 endo on hand. --Kanamekun 16:52, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

It may have been the same 3D model (modified slightly), but it couldn't have been a T-888. Sarah had only seen one type of terminator up until that point; the T-800 M-101 (not counting the T-1000). She couldn't have dreamed of something specific she had never seen before (a T-888). We have to remember that we're watching SFX made by a much more advanced means; CG rendering. The T-800 models from the movies were actual physical models and not very detailed. If you'll notice the comparison below, you'll see that the Nightmare Terminator's forearm and thigh hydraulics are exposed, and the T-888's are almost completely covered. The chest plate is also slightly different. You have to look very closely at the details. These are clearly two different, but very similar models-
There are some very minor differences. There's no reason to believe they're much different anyway; they're both T-8xxs. It HAS to be a T-800, though. It's the only thing the endo could be from Sarah's point of view.

Awesome, this is fantastic! Mind if we add it to the article itself? --Kanamekun 22:54, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, sure. It would look great there. I love doing diagram things like that :) I like making maps, too. Just a few of the weird little things I do with Photoshop. -sec_1971 23:46, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
In my opinion, 2. Hydraulic are the same since it is just due to the view angle. I think it is T-800 in-universely, but the character model is possibly a T-888 due to some reason. --TX55TALK 12:59, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

I think it is a modified or upgraded Series 888-Boba fett 32 19:50, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, it's not. How could Sarah dream about a terminator series she has never seen before? She had only seen two T-800s and a T-1000 before the TV series. -Sec_1971 21:16, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

How do you know that the future has not changed the past so that instead of being T-800s, the Model 101s were both T-888s? After all, she fails to question how Cameron came from 2027, after John sent Kyle through first, which was established in T1 and T2 to be 2029? Ggctuk 17:04, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
You have it backwards, the past is what changes(or makes in the first place) the future. Sarah's memories are unchangeable. From her point of view, the T-888 and Cameron are new machines. -Grimace427 23:10, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
I'd like to make another observation regarding the Nightmare Terminator's possible type - look at the hydraulics connecting its torso to its pelvis. The standard T-888 has four - two on each side. It seems this one has two, with one on each side.

True. Cuz how'd would Sarah have a vision about a model she has never seen? Typical SyFy nonsense-Boba fett 32 01:53, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

They are both the same series they just have different colors Unsigned comment by Olliedudley (talk • contribs).

There are differences in the design and they are highlighted in the image. Plus, as has been said in the description, how could Sarah dream of a terminator design she's never seen before? - Nx1701g 23:13, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

maybe it was just out of no were Unsigned comment by Olliedudley (talk • contribs).

Possibly Skynet Created A T-888 Prototype? Like A Combo of a T-800 & 888? -Series 800, Model 101 1.0 23:28, October 13, 2011 (UTC)

That would be possible; however, it still wouldn't explain how Sarah dreamed about a terminator unit she'd never seen before. - Nx1701g 02:35, October 14, 2011 (UTC)
