The "Terminator rights" section[]
Does this section really belong here on the article about James Cameron? Maybe at least short it down a bit? Ascaaear 21:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well what I wanted to get at is, he married Linda... and then after they divorced, she asked for the rights to Terminator in the settlement - and she got it! Then she sold it, and the rights were used to make T3 and TSCC (plus T4). So in a very real sense, his personal life had an enormous impact on the franchise... --Kanamekun 01:07, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see your point. Only that the Terminator franchise after his involvement (T3, SCC and T4) which is a huge section doesn't directly have anything with James Cameron. Maybe we should have a article called "Terminator franchise", and short this section down? Or am I totally wrong? It's not a big thing for me at all, just to make sure everything is correct. - Good point, I took out some of the Terminator Rights section that doesn't refer to James! --Kanamekun 16:50, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Expansion[]
I remember seeing some stuff on how James Cameron dreamed about a robot while in Italy, and how that drove his ideas for the plot. It'd be great to really map out a section about how the entire concept was his vision (albeit, drawing on a lot of scifi from the past). --Kanamekun 20:48, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Jupp, thats true. I can write about what I know about the story! Ascaaear 20:51, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
