The Cyberdyne Systems Series E Experimental Exterminator Unit, or TE-X30, colloquially known by the Resistance as the “Hover Hoover” or "Tex", is a pest control unit created by Skynet.[1]

Looking like a compact, beetle-shelled, hoseless vacuum cleaner, this unit quietly navigates Skynet's server farms, propelled by a silent air cushion. Equipped with a 20-watt retractable dorsal plasma weapon, the TE-X30 incinerates vermin and pests upon detection. In regions facing more substantial biological threats, the standard pistol configuration can be upgraded to a more powerful plasma rifle.[1]
Mission Profile[]
The TE-X30 is tasked with identifying and neutralizing potential threats to Skynet's circuits and wires, functioning as an advanced pest control mechanism. Despite their seemingly innocuous (even charming) appearance, TE-X30s are not to be underestimated. Derided as "little bastards" by some Resistance members, these diminutive units also serve as efficient emergency facility guards. Dismissed as harmless by some Resistance members, these units pose a considerable threat, capable of using their plasma weaponry with lethal precision.[1]
History[]
During their assault on Skynet's Time Displacement Equipment facility in 2030, Blake[2], a member of Colonel Mary Randall's team, was killed by a TE-X30 after he dismissed the small unit despite Lieutenant Koufaks' warnings.[3]
