The T-808 Probationary Test Unit is an experimental type of Terminator produced by Skynet and utilized to monitor human's survivability urge. [1]
Specification[]
The T-808's CPU was integrated with mimetic human software packages, originally designed for the TS-300, containing detailed human anatomical and psychological files. The experimental software superseded its basic tactical interface, making it less cunning than the standard T-800 unit.[1]
The T-808 features the same silvery metal endoskeleton as the T-800, their endoskeleton was augmented and recalibrated (to compensate for the additional weight) when they were reassigned as flamethrower units. [1]
Abilities[]
Using Skynet's files on human anatomy and psychology, T-808s put them to practical application for interrogation purposes. Despite their cruel behavior, the only thing that the 808s got right was the ability to determine probable termination times when subjecting humans to various fatal stimuli and psychological warfare is useless. Oftenly the T-808 was used to torture a group of captured humans for informations, killing most of them leaving at least one terrified survivor to tell Skynett what it wants to know before their demise. [1]
Combat abilities[]
Lacking standard ground tactics, the T-808's combat abilities were pretty limited and so was deployed to stand guard over human internment camps or used as terror flamethrower units.[1]
Infiltration[]
The T-808 Infiltrator, like the T-800, can be covered with living tissue that includes human-like flesh, skin, hair, blood, and other bodily fluids. So far only Model 101A "Aurora" were seen on T-808 Infiltrators.[1]
Weaknesses[]
In addition of having the same weaknesses as the T-800, one of the T-808 interrogator's main weakness is its lack of basics ground war tactics making it almost useless in combat. Their misunderstanding of human psychology left them pretty cruel behavior, often terminating before interrogate, forcing Skynet to install both a wireless and manual kill switch to force them into standby mode.[1]
Its misinterpretation of human psychology and deviant behavior was proved to be problematic as they often incinerate humans in internment camps before they had a chance to complete the task assigned to them.[1]
Notes[]
- Like the T-800, each Terminator does also have a unique alphanumeric serial number. It contains four or more letters, which the first and last position is usually an alphabetic letter and the middle positions are numbers. The last letter is separated from the other letters with a dot. [1]

Quotes[]

- Unnamed Tech-Com: "Skynet takes the sadistic 808s off ice when its time to torture a group of captured humans for information. While the 808 will likely kill most of the group, at least one of them will tell Skynet what it wants to know before their demise. Just because it’s the first robot to need a shrink, don’t try to use psychological warfare against the damn thing—it will beat you every time."
