The Cyberdyne Systems Series 700 Infiltrator Unit, or T-770, also known as "Data Junkie", is a specialized variant of the T-700 Terminator model.
Specification[]
These units have been repurposed as mobile information hubs and data archives. Equipped with the advanced L3R Software Package, the T-770 undergoes modifications so most of its original systems are wiped to create additional storage capacity for data.[2] They have various cables and cords extending from various parts of their bodies, allowing them to jack into multiple ports simultaneously.[1]
While still possessing self-defense capabilities, the combat software package of a Data Junkie is largely removed to accommodate increased data storage. As a result, they have only half the lethality of a standard T-700 Terminator.[2]
Mission profile[]
Deployed to a time period preceding Judgment Day, a T-770 disguises itself as a derelict person and positions itself near a designated network cable junction box. Appearing to be drunk, this behavior is a ploy to establish a hardwired connection with a sensitive human data system. The primary objective of a Data Junkie is to travel back in time, identify suitable locations to establish a connection, tap into relevant systems, and collect valuable data. Once a T-770's memory reaches capacity, they secure themselves within a building known to survive Judgment Day. Upon reactivation in a future controlled by Skynet, Data Junkies promptly upload their collected data to the Skynet network.[2]
