Stephanie Jacobsen portrays Jesse in the TV series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen (born June 22, 1980 in Hong Kong) is a television actress. Her mother is Portuguese and her father is Chinese-Norwegian-English. She moved to Australia at the age of 12 and after attending high school in Sydney, Chaves-Jacobsen went to Sydney University where she graduated with majors in philosophy and English literature. She says she received her biggest break when she was cast in a major role as the enthusiastic young medical intern Charlotte Adams on the Australian soap-opera series Home and Away.

She played Lieutenant (later Captain and then Major) Kendra Shaw in Battlestar Galactica: Razor, a between-seasons television film of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series.

Prior to her role in both Battlestar Galactica and in Home and Away, she enjoyed parts in Farscape and the SBS comedy Pizza, as well as a number of TV commercials. She was cast in the pilot of Life on Mars as police detective Maya Robertson; however, the pilot was ravamped and reshot to be closer to the original British version and the character's name was changed to Maya Daniels and was recast with Lisa Bonet.

Chaves-Jacobsen will be starring in All Saints as Dr. Colleen Newton and holds a recurring role on Fox's hit television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as Jesse, a Resistance Fighter and a woman from Derek Reese's past. She also has a role on the CW network's Melrose Place as a UCLA Medical student and high end prostitute Lauren Bishop.
