State of Texas Detention and Processing Center
The State of Texas Detention and Processing Center is an immigration detention center located in Laredo, Texas.
History[]
In 2020, Sarah Connor, Dani Ramos, Grace Harper, and Flacco were brought to the detention center after being arrested at the Mexico-United States border by the United States Border Patrol, who had been tipped off by the Rev-9. Grace, knocked unconscious during the arrest when the Rev-9 crashed a UAV near the group in an attempt to kill Dani, was taken to the infirmary, while the others were taken to the south end holding facility.
Dani pleaded with one of the Border Patrol agents for help, but she did not believe her story. As medics Burke and Dawson examined Grace's injuries, they noticed her augmentations and took x-rays of her. The Rev-9 entered the facility disguised as an agent, pretending to be there to pick up Dani. The Rev-9 set off a metal detector, but was let through after claiming to have a metal hip from deployments to Afghanistan. Sarah unsuccessfully tried to pick the lock to her cage with Flacco's help before Rigby came to escort her to a private holding cell. Grace regained consciousness and knocked out two agents and Burke for looking at her augmentations without her consent. She subsequently knocked out Dawson after learning from her where the detainees were taken.
After stealing Burke's clothes and injecting her meds, Grace spotted the Rev-9 in the holding area and pulled a fire alarm to create a distraction. Sarah used this distraction to knock out Rigby and an agent accompanying her and fled with Rigby's pistol. Grace opened the cages and fled the scene with Dani amidst the chaos. Flacco blocked the Rev-9's way with a door and tried to punch it, but was thrown aside into a cage wall. The Rev-9 jumped on top of the cages to chase Grace and Dani, and stabbed several agents trying to stop it. Grace and Dani commandeered a helicopter outside the building as the Rev-9 and Sarah both ran towards the helipad. Despite Grace's insistence, Dani refused to leave Sarah behind and got off the helicopter to shoot at the Rev-9. The trio narrowly escaped the machine as it jumped up towards the helicopter.
Afterwards, the Rev-9 encountered two Texas Rangers in the facility's parking lot and asked them where it could acquire a helicopter. Terminator: Dark Fate
