The name or term "Sherwood Olson" should not be confused with General Olsen.
Sherwood Olson is the young assistant of Thomas Shelby, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cyber Research Systems. He obtained MBA degree from Harvard University.[1]

Sherwood Olson went to the Edwards Air Force Base with his supervisor, Thomas Shelby, to meet with General Robert Brewster to show him Cyber Research Systems' promotional video for Skynet, T-1 Battlefield Robot, Hunter-Killer Aerial Weapons Platform[2], and T-600 Terminator, as well as further discussion regarding Budget hearing. During the presentation, Shelby was not fond of voice of William Candy, who was about to become a Model for Terminator, in the promotional video. Olson replied that Candy's voice can be fixed.
