After Sarah Connor escaped the room, the SWAT team examined the room and found a dying Dyson struggling to breathe while holding a C4 detonator, realizing this, the SWAT leader ordered the team to fall back immediately. After Sarah and the group made it to a elevator before the explosives detonated, the group was again confronted and shot with tear gas with a riot gun by the same SWAT team, prompting the T-800 to injure each of the SWAT officers with a pistol and a riot gun. The T 800 then stole a SWAT van and plunged it through the building in order to help the Connors. While the trio escaped in a SWAT van, a SWAT officer tried to stop them with a shotgun.
