Rothlake, or Rothlake Corporation,[1] was a private military company contracted to the US military.
In the mid 1980s, Rothlake tested remote controlled androids based on Terminator technology under the code name Project Myrmidon.[1]
In 1985, Rothlake discovered the presence of a Terminator chasing a woman called Elise Fong. They kidnapped Dr. Fong, intending to use her as bait for the Terminator and hoping to use it for the betterment of Project Myrmidon, but the gambit ended badly for them: the Ithaca compound was badly damaged, tens of Rothlake mercenaries died in action, and Mr. King, CEO of the company, was killed by the machine.[2]

- The Terminator RPG expands Rothlake's role in the development of Skynet, explaining that in the RPG timeline the company has ties to Raven Technologies, a company from The Terminator: 1984.[1]
