The T-800 on his mission to find and protect John Connor
Resistance members, including human and reprogrammed Terminators, are sometimes given a mission to protect another person and prevent the subject from harm or damage.
In some occations, Skynet will sent Terminators to protect key persons responsible for the creation of itself.
