The Prophet is the Resistance's spiritual and philosophical leader.
History[]
When Eiko arrives back at the Resistance base, the Prophet asks her if she has "it," and Eiko presents the vial cylinder that she used to abstract information from a Terminator. The Prophet takes the vial and announces to her fellow resistance members that the time has come, stating that five resistance camps were destroyed by the Machines within five days, leaving no survivors. However, the Prophet claims they can learn what Skynet is planning with the vial and asks that the lives lost not be in vain.[1]
Learning that Skynet had intended to assassinate someone in the year 1997, the Prophet proclaims that they can't waste any time.[1]
The Prophet is briefly mentioned in a conversation between Eiko and Annie about whether or not the Prophet's words are genuine or not. Later, preparations are made to send a naked Eiko back in time using the Time Displacement Device. The Prophet claims that Skynet sending a Terminator back in time creates a new Timeline. She also proclaims that they must act hastily to ensure their window of opportunity to the past isn't wasted. Eiko, who is wearing nothing but a robe up to this point, then demands to know why she, of all people, had to be sent to the past and questions if the Prophet's words aren't anything but shit. However, the Prophet claims that she's the only one who can.[2]
In a flashback, the Prophet talks to Eiko about time travel and paradoxes.[3]
