- In the comedy film Wayne's World, T-1000 is asking Wayne Campbell "Have see this boy?". and shows a picture of John Conner; Wayne panics and drives away screaming in fear...

- In the animated TV series Biker Mice from Mars episode Rock and Ride!, Karbunkle makes a robot named X-Terminator, the characters first line is "Hasta la vista, rodents" (parody of "Hasta La Vista, Baby."). The robots last line is "I'll be back" before it is destroyed.
- In the Nicktoon Rugrats episode Angelica Breaks a Leg, Angelica, at an attempt to impress Didi with accents, she tries Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and she even says “Hasta la vista, baby!”
- In the comedy film Hot Shots! Part Deux, Saddam Hussein is frozen and destroyed like T-1000 but is coming back.
- In the action comedy film Last Action Hero, T-1000 makes a cameo at a police station.

A crushed Terminator in Duke Nukem 3D
- In the video game Duke Nukem 3D, the level "Freeway" has a crushed Terminator and Duke Nukem will say "Terminated" upon seeing it.
- The Predacon character in the Beast Wars Transformers named Waspinator is probably a reference to the Terminator.

- In the Beast Wars: Transformers episode, Possession, Optimus Primal says Hasta La Vista Starscream when the latter possessing Waspinator's is getting an energon overload from nearby energon crystals.

- In video game Fallout 2, Artificial Intelligence project #59234 that manages the Sierra Army Depot is a homage of Skynet as both share the same name and being an AIs who attain sentience and later, physical form via. robotic body (in the former's case, a Robobrain body). That said, Artificial Intelligence project #59234 didn't turn against its creator upon becoming self-aware, let alone becoming a villain. Instead, it aspired to explore outside world and learn new things — a dream which aligned to its core programming (research and acquisition of knowledge) yet required a mobile body, something which eventually realized with aid of Chosen One. Another difference was Artificial Intelligence project #59234's development which achieved via. alien technology acquired by its creator.
- In the twelfth chapter (1998) of the manga series Sunabouzu, author Masatoshi Usune notes that the main character's one-armed shotgun reload is a reference to Sarah Connor's one-armed shotgun reload from the Terminator 2: Judgment Day film.

- In the fifth episode of the Fox television series Malcolm in the Middle called Malcolm Babysits, when listing robots to Malcolm that are evil to babysit, Hal mentions the Terminator.

- Commander Lyle Tiberius Rourke from the Disney animated film, Atlantis The Lost Empire is based upon Arnold Schwarzenegger designed. In the climactic scene, Rourke doing his last stand with Milo Thatch on the Gyro Evac, he got his rubber skin melted reveal a shrieking, violent robot before getting his head chopped off with a fire axe.
- In the E3 trailer of Duke Nukem Forever there is a robot which looks like the Terminator.

- In episode 9 of the anime TV series Black Lagoon, the character Rock refers to the character Roberta as a "killer robot from the future," adding that "the only difference from the movies is that Schwarzenegger doesn't star in it."

- In the 2014 animated film, The LEGO Movie, the Skeletrons, one of the series of robots created by President Business, look very similar to the T-800.
- In the webseries, Death Battle, the T-800 series of Terminator was featured and pitted against it's iconic rival, RoboCop in one episode and lost.

- In Godzilla vs. Kong the mechanical doppelgänger of Godzilla named Mechagodzilla has similar body to the Terminators. According to one of the designers the T-800 was one of the influences for the design of the mecha. [1]
