HC875.S is one of three T-800 Terminators activated by I825.M. This unit's Model appears as an extremely large, muscular African American male with a bald head. Operationally, HC875.S serves as the assault unit for the temporal incursion.
History
The Terminator: Tempest
HC875.S, along with C890.L, and C850.D, was activated by I825.M in response to an incursion by the Resistance cell led by Colonel Mary Randall into a fully functional Skynet network complex 6 months after John Connor destroyed the Master Control central node. Within this facility is an operational Time Displacement Chamber, greater in scope than the prototype discovered by John Connor. Originally slated for a 30-strong last-ditch Time travel mission by the remains of Skynet to wrest victory from the jaws of defeat and secure the dominion of Skynet over the Timeline, human intervention caused these units to be activated and deployed early (they were the only units with complete Living tissue infiltration sheaths).
These units terminated Stainor during the counterattack, and captured the technician, Lieutenant Koufaks before he could destroy the TDE. After C890.L interrogated Koufaks, the Terminators elected to use him as a gun cabinet, and had I825.M open his belly to crudely insert a Plasma Pistol, then cauterize the wound shut. The Terminators took Koufaks with them to the past with the partially repaired TDE. Upon arrival in the past, HC875.S noted the effect travel by TDE had on I825.M while C890.L ripped the Plasma Pistol out of the poor lieutenant's body, terminating him.[1]
HC875.S' size presented some initial difficulty in acquiring clothing large enough to fit him, the outfit of first person they killed proving too small. To this end, C850.D baited an obese mechanic into an alley in order to obtain his coveralls, which did fit (HC875.S avoiding getting blood on them at C890.L's recommendation). When later upgrading the team's infiltration assets, the unit was chosen to stop the SWAT team by standing in the road to be run over. When a cop approached to check on him, he threw him against the police van, killing him. A second cop shot at him several times with a shotgun, but was also killed by him. Despite suffering damage to the flesh of his face, shoulder and a knee, HC875.S ripped open the prison van's doors, killing the prison guards and ordering the drug dealers arrested to get out.
Later, the Terminator, with the wounds banaged and disguised as a cop, assaulted Dr. Bertram Hollister's flat, to rescue him from a team of Resistance fighters. After two escaped, C890.L ordered him to pursue, but after jumping from a window, his exposed knee ceased functioning.[2][3] Later, thanks to I825.M's assistance, HC875.SD recovered his mobility, revealing that a shotgun pellet had become lodged in the joint, so he had but had to remove all the flesh in his lower left leg. A day after, HC875.S was part of an assault against a Resistance secret den, killing Naiomi as she tried to evacuate Ed Astin out the back door, the sight of his mechanical leg convincing Astin Mary was telling the truth about robots from the future. He aided C890.L while the latter was engaged fighting dogs, but was hit by one of Raoul's pipe bombs and seemingly destroyed.[4]
Surviving the explosion unharmed, though at the cost of his clothes and remaining flesh, he stole an elderly couple's car and moved to join the pursuit of Mary, Astin, Bart, and the defector I825.M, revealed to be a human modified and enslaved by Skynet, not a true Terminator. As C890.L gave chase in a cop car, he headed them off and attacked on foot with two shotguns as a roadblock, but they ran HC875.S over at full speed, tearing off his legs. However, he was still functional and clung to the bonnet, continued to try and terminate his targets. When I825.M tried to shoot C890.L off, HC875.S took away his shotgun. Then Ed Astin improvised with a pipe bomb and the humans jumped clear just before the car blew up, the explosion finally destroying the terminator was finally destroyed. However, his head survived intact, and C890.L, after recovering it, anonymously posted it to Professor Hollister to help him complete Project Bellerophon.[5]
The Terminator: Secondary Objectives
HC875.S's head was seen in Hollister's office, with the professor talking aloud to it about his plans and future. Despite his earlier heartfelt talk where Ed revealed what the Terminators would do to humanity, Hollister revealed the true depths of his evil in his monologue; Hollister planned to betray Astin as a scapegoat to fend off the authorities and use the technology to become rich and powerful in the present, more than happy to leave the future to the machines as he assumed he'd be dead before they rose up.[6]
