Publisher Summary[]
A scenario inspired by the Graphic Novel: The Dark Years.
This post-Judgment Day mission, circa 1980s, is designed for 3-6 players.
Mission Briefing: The Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) is due to vote on the upcoming Bellerophon Bill after the holiday break. Bellerophon is the project that eventually culminates in the creation of Skynet, and a newly elected Senator from Washington, Daron Summers, is expected to vote in favor of the bill. The PCs are tasked with seeing that things go differently.
Plot summary[]
The PCs are in Seattle on a mission to persuade Senator Daron Summers to vote against the upcoming Bellerophon Defense Bill, the precursor to the Skynet Funding Bill. Senator Summers has been in a car accident and was rushed to downtown Harbor General. The PCs sneak into the hospital and encounter Rafael Alessi, a Resistance fighter and former friend who was time-displaced fifty years into the past. Alessi insists that there is a Terminator in the area, and he's right: a T-750 dressed as a nurse is pretending to do hospital rounds as it searches for the senator. Summers is killed, and his appointed replacement, Jack Whitaker, does precisely what they hoped to prevent as the Bellerophon Defense Bill passes.
Characters[]
Notes[]
- Rafael Alessi is the brother of Alessi, one of the campaign's pre-generated characters.
- No matter what the PCs do, Senator Summers dies: either they kill him, or the Terminator does, or he dies of an apparent heart attack two days later.
