The Cyberdyne Systems Series C Segmented Autonomous Scout Assault Drone[1], HK-Crawler[1] or Silverfish[1] is a scout unit used by Skynet during its war against the Resistance in the years following Judgment Day.
TheSilverfish was a meter tall, six-meter-long segmented attack-drone that resembled it's namesake insect, the silverfish. Another one in a line of biologically inspired non-humanoid Hunter-Killers, the Silverfish was designed for sneak attacks. Deployed in battle, the Silverfish would slither along the ground seeking human command posts. Its low height made it both hard to spot and also offered some protection from enemy fire. When the Silverfish encountered an enemy target, it would plow headlong into the target and explode.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Though the Silverfish has not appeared in any film of the series, it was intended to be seen in the opening battle of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Conceptual images of it can be seen in Terminator 2 - Judgment Day: The Book Of The Film - An Illustrated Screenplay.
