During production, such as filming, typing and editing, or speaking, there could be some error or mistake, sometimes known as goof.
- Notable examples in Terminator fictions
- The terms T-101 and T-801 could be a result of confusion between CSM-101 and T-800.
- Detective Mossberg and David Weatherby's last names were swapped in Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Cybernetic Dawn.
- Detective Martinez in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines franchise.
- The T-1-5 and T-1-7 are referred as T-5 and T-7 respectively in Terminator Hunt.
- McG, the director of the film Terminator Salvation, once referred T-1 as T-100.
- The packaging of Playmates action figure for Marcus Wright, who is a Hybrid, identifies him as a T-700 Terminator.
- In the film Terminator Genisys, the deactivated T-800 Infiltrator's nose is missing when Kyle Reese wakes up even though such damage is not seen during the battle at Griffith Observatory. When the T-1000 reactivated the T-800, the nose is suddenly in place again.
- In "Factories" and Tempest issue 4, "Connor" is misspelled as "Conner".
