The E034.F[1], also known as "Future Cop",[1] was a Terminator Series 800 Model 109 Version 1.7 sent by Skynet to eliminate Sarah Connor and John Connor in New York City on a New Year’s Eve of 1999.[2]
History[]
When Skynet's contingency facilitators[1] uncovered hospital records indicating Sarah Connor's presence at Danzer Memorial Hospital in 1999, a Terminator designated E034.F was sent back from 2030 to eliminate her. E034.F arrived in New York City on New Year's Eve in an alley near Times Square. It proceeded to eliminate both a homeless man and a police officer. Operating in Read/Write Mode[1], the Terminator recognized the advantage of assuming the guise of a law enforcement officer, and chose this disguise to enhance its autonomy and effectiveness in fulfilling its mission.[2] This discovery marked a significant development, potentially leading to future Terminator units incorporating similar strategies into their software.[1]
Assuming the alias Hamilton, Sarah and John Connor had found themselves in the New Year's Eve festivities. Upon spotting the Connors, E034.F pursued them through the subway system, resulting in Sarah sustaining a gunshot wound. John quickly transported his mother to Danzer Memorial Hospital. However, when the hospital staff discovered that Sarah's identification documents had been falsified they called the authorities. John resorted to tampering with computer records, indicating that Sarah had died upon arrival. This action redirected the Terminator's focus exclusively toward John, prompting a high-speed chase across New York City. John employed various tactics, including fireworks, to distract the relentless machine and damage its living tissue covering. The pursuit eventually escalated to a dramatic confrontation on the rooftop.[2]
In a desperate struggle, John managed to push the Terminator off the Empire State Building, causing it to plummet seemingly to its demise. Despite sustaining severe damage, the Terminator mustered the strength to crawl back to Danzer Memorial Hospital, determined to eliminate the Connors. However, Sarah utilized a surgical laser to disable the exposed circuitry of the incapacitated Terminator.[2] Taking advantage of the situation, Sarah and John successfully smuggled the remains of E034.F out of the hospital, carefully weighed them down, and disposed of them deep within the East River.[1]
