Instead of living tissue, Duroplast is a form of pliant plastic used to make the outer sheath for the Series 850 Terminator.

- The duroplast skin only appears in the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines novel.
- Apparently, duroplast can be sent back through time via Continuum Transporter.
- When filming the scene that features the Terminator's living tissue being removed, this "skin" is in fact made of plastic. What materials were used in the production of the "skin" is unknown.
