T-850 peeling its "skin" as shown in the film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

Instead of living tissue, Duroplast is a form of pliant plastic used to make the outer sheath for Series 850 Terminator.

  • The duroplast skin only appears in the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines novel.
  • When filming the scene that features the Terminator's living tissue being removed, this "skin" is in fact made of plastic. What materials being used in the production of the "skin" is unknown.
