The Cybernetic Dawn timeline follows The Terminator 2: Judgment Day timeline and leads to the events in Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Cybernetic Dawn and Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Nuclear Twilight.

It should be noted that the events in Terminator 2: Judgment Day occured in 1994 in this timeline, which is different from many other timelines.

Cybernetic Dawn timeline[]

Mid 1970s
  • The first T-800 endoskeleton was found in Argentina. Soon the endoskeletons were recovered by U.S. government from sites across the world.
1984
Main article: The Terminator
  • The T-800 arrived from the future to kill Sarah Connor.
  • Kyle Reese arrived from the future to protect Sarah.
  • Kyle impregnated Sarah.
  • Kyle died while T-800 was destroyed.
  • The wreckage of the T-800 was recovered by Cyberdyne Systems and reverse-engineered its technology.
1985
  • John Connor was born.
June 8th, 1994[1]

  • The T-1000 arrived from the future to kill John Connor.
  • T-800 arrived from the future to protect John.
  • Sarah was rescued by T-800 and John Connor.
June 9th, 1994
  • Sarah, John, and T-800 destroyed Cyberdyne building in order to prevent the creation of Skynet.
  • Enrique Salceda was interrogated by T-1000 after Sarah had left, and attempted to terminate it with a suicide attack, but failed.
  • T-1000 failed the mission and was terminated; T-800 was terminated to prevent any future technology left in present day.
June 10th, 1994
  • FBI agents Vincent Spasky and Karyn Stern started to investigate the terrorist attack about Cyberdyne System and Wilmington steel mill, targetting Sarah Conner as a suspect.
  • A trio of terminators, including two T-800s and a T-1000, arrived from the future. The T-800s headed to find and kill John Conner, and the T-1000 went to Wilmington steel mill, where it killed and replicated Karyn Stern.
June 11th, 1994
  • Under the guise of Karyn Stern, the T-1000 infiltrated Simi Valley Network Developments.
  • One T-800 engaged with Conners, but failed and crushed by a forklift.The endoskeleton later was collected by FBI agents.
June 12th, 1994
  • Sarah went to Simi Valley facilities, willingly surrendering in search for the answers of new-coming terminators.
  • Vincent Spasky and Karyn Stern (T-1000) showed Sarah the endoskeletons that they stored, revealing the truth that countries including China and France may also recovered terminator remains and reverse-engineered their technology.
  • The other one T-800 found John and attemped to kill him, but failed and terminated by rocket launcher.
  • T-1000 revealed its true identity and attempted to kill Sarah, causing dozens of deaths of FBI agents, Vincent Spasky included. Sarah finally terminated it with a bucket of solvent and exploded the Simi Valley facilities.
  • Sarah and John fled to Mexico, preparing for the coming of Judgement Day.
1997

Alternate future[]

2029
  • Danny Dyson, son of Miles Dyson, compiled a computer virus, hoping the virus can destroy Skynet.
  • After several splatoons lost, the Resistance captured a T-800 and reprogrammed it with the virus downloaded. The reprogrammed T-800 finally came back to Cheyenne Mountain, where Skynet Central Core located.
  • A trio of terminators, including two T-800s and a T-1000, were sent back to 1994.
  • Griffith was captured by terminators. Two T-1000 units impersonated him and killed him. Unit One traveled back to 1994, while Unit Two awaited for further instructions.
  • During Final Offensive against Skynet, the reprogrammed T-800 uploaded the computer virus to Skynet, effectively "assassinated" it. The War Against the Machines ended.
  • John Conner found Skynet sent a T-800 to 1984 and a T-1000 back to 1994, then he sent Kyle Reese to 1984 to protect Sarah Conner and the Reprogrammed T-800 to 1994 to protect his younger self.
  • Unit Two infiltrated Resistance and downloaded Skynet source code on Danny's computer, revealing the war had not ended yet.
