Bertie was a laboratory mouse made with Hybrid technology, with its brain and possibly other organs transplanted into an endoskeleton as a test subject for further human experiments under Dr. Serena Kogan and her division from Cyberdyne Systems. It was the first successful transplant of a living organic brain into a housing endoskeleton based on developing Terminator technology.
