2017 is the year that the events in Terminator Salvation: Sand in the Gears occur. It is one year prior to the events that occur in the movie Terminator Salvation.
- John Connor - Resistance Soldier (not yet a leader)
- John Connor uses radio to contact Resistance fighters to stop the flow of uranium needed by Skynet to fuel its war machines.
John contacts the following resistance fighters
- Elena Maric - Resistance leader and former LAPD officer
- Bem Aworuwa - former lead engineer of an open-pit uranium mine in Niger, Africa
- Lysette Gravois - French Doctor
- Yusuf Al Mansur- An illegal immigrant from Syria
- Jackson Parker - former factory worker
Terminator Genisys timelineEdit
2017 was supposed to be the year when Skynet, or Genisys, went online and Judgment Day happened. However, it was stopped by Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, and the Guardian.
