The 1NNO was a utility robot by Yuya Industries that existed before Judgment Day in at least one timeline.

The 1NNO robot was marketed as "Your First Robot Pal" and was manufactured by a large conglomerate called Yuya Industries, Ltd.[1] They were androids with a boxy yet friendly design. They were always polite and amiable.
1NNOs had complex databases to make them as helpful as possible, but were not very smart, being able to follow instructions but incapable of independent thought.[2] 1NNOs performed several jobs around the city, such as clerks, shoppers, passenger pushers, and dog walkers.[3]
As a network, 1NNOs could receive orders through a satellite frequency, which Yuya used to order them into staging areas, for example. They were also able to synchronize data between units in that same way.[3]
After their cooption by Kokoro, they used a very simple light signal system to differentiate enemy from ally: blue for friend, red for enemy.[4] They could also act as mouthpieces or avatars for the AI.[5]
History[]
In 1997, 1NNOs were still a novelty, with some kinks still being worked out. Several of them were staged in Yuya's underground facilities under Tokyo, ready for the 1997-1998 fiscal year.[3]
Kokoro used the satellite link to control all 1NNO units and used them as ground units for her takeover of Japan. In this capacity, 1NNOs kept humans under control, shooting to kill when facing armed enemies or when threatened by a human. They fought police agents and soldiers, using any available weapons.[4] When a Terminator threatened Kokoro, an army of 1NNOs destroyed it, later bringing Kokoro its head.[6]

- Kenta Lee remarked on their similarity when fixing Misaki's arm using 1NNO components.[4] It's unknown if there's any connection between Yuya and Cyberdyne or if Malcolm Lee or his research were involved in creating the 1NNOs in any way.
