The three Terminators arrived Los Angeles, 1990
Colonel Mary Randall leads a team of five Resistance soldiers who arrive in 1990 with a mission to kill key figures in the Cyberdyne Systems hierarchy. To stop the Resistance team, Skynet sends four units: C890.L, C850.D, HC875.S, along with I825.M after Randall's cell.

- The Tempest timeline was originally set in 1990 as the end of the first issue remarks the event set in "1990, Los Angeles". However, when the last installment The Terminator: Endgame was published, the setting was retconned into 1984.
