I have a movie prop I bought from one of the people who worked on set. It is an original and I've had it for years. Now I am moving and I can't it with me half way across the world now can I. So I have to sell it.
How much do you think it's worth?
Thanks y'all have a great day
Ok, so recently I came up with this theory in regards to John and Dani that I think not only explains a lot but also fixes several plot holes and time paradoxes. But before I get into that, I need to explain something that not everyone might know. James Cameron confirmed that time travel in the Terminator franchise works on multiverse theory, where each time someone goes back in time, they're creating a different alternate reality separate from the original one. So say Skynet, having lost the war, sends a Terminator back in time to kill the resistance leader, allowing Skynet to win the war, that will only take place in THAT timeline, and the timeline where Skynet lost will still have happened and be unaffected, because it's in an alternate reality. So like if John was killed as a kid, his older self wouldn't suddenly disappear in the future timeline because that's a separate reality.
Alright, now that that explanation is out of the way and we know how time travel works, we run into a problem. A time paradox. Skynet sends a Terminator to kill Sarah so she can't give birth to John, and Kyle is sent back in time to protect her, where he ends up fathering John. But if Skynet never lost the war thanks to John, it never would have sent back a Terminator, so Kyle never would have gone back to father John, so Skynet never would have lost. Like I said, time paradox. But Dark Fate may have solved that problem. This is where my theory comes into play.
There has to be an original timeline, something to start this repeating cycle to allow John to be born, and this is how I think it goes. In the original/first timeline, when Skynet goes to war with humanity, it's Dani who's the leader of the resistance and is the one to take down Skynet. Skynet then sends a Terminator to the past to kill Dani's mother before Dani is born (like in T1 with John). Kyle is sent back in time to stop it.
However, he fails. The Terminator successfully kills Dani's mother, and so she's never born. Kyle, however, still meets and falls in love with Sarah, and he ends up fathering John. He knows that Judgement Day is coming though, and so he prepares John for it (Kyle likely dies in the war). It's due to this preparation that John is able to become the new resistance leader since Dani was never born in this timeline. He leads humanity to victory against Skynet, so Skynet sends a Terminator back to stop John from being born (and to kill him later if that failed). However, this timeline's Skynet will have no knowledge of Dani since she wasn't born in this timeline and it was John who was the resistance leader, hence why it targeted him. This began the cycle we've come to know. And with John taking the lead of the resistance in all these realities, Dani never has to, and so likely just remains a regular soldier.
As I said above, each timeline is a separate reality, with small details differentiating from each one. Skynet acts based on the info of its reality, and sends Terminators back with orders based on what it knows in that reality. This cycle repeats who knows how many times, resulting in different realities, such as the T1, T2, T3, Salvation reality, the Sarah Connor Chronicles reality, the Genisys reality, etc.
Finally, Skynet successfully manages to kill John in the Dark Fate reality. However, the Skynet that sent back the Terminator that killed John had no knowledge of Dani. So her mother was never killed, allowing her to become the leader of the resistance like in the original timeline since John wasn't there to do it. But unlike in the original/first reality, events have ben changed significantly due to Sarah trying to prevent Skynet from ever rising, resulting in Legion taking Skynet's place and sending a Terminator back to kill Dani, and Grace going back to protect her instead of Kyle (either by choice or because Kyle died in this reality).
This cycle is likely to repeat, possibly switching back and forth between John and Dani as humanity's savior, until one side is successful; either Skynet/Legion is taken down before it can send any Terminators back, or the Terminators are successful in killing both, or Skynet/Legion wins the war in the future and thus has no reason to send any Terminators back (this is unlikely though because Skynet/Legion will always have either no knowledge of Dani or John, depending on which reality it is, allowing the other to become the resistance leader).
Anyway, that's my theory. Make sense? Anyone else agree?
Hey y'all. Here's a really well made poster from someone's deviantart page online, so I just thought I'd share this great art if anyone else is interested in it. 😁
If an upcoming Terminator film, game, tv show, comic book, etc., where to fully crossover with another franchise, what would people pair up Terminator with and why?
This can include Bionicle, Final Fantasy, Rayman, Sonic, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Mario, Megaman, Tekken, Soul Calibre, Anime, Manga, and so forth, since Terminator recently met MK 11, as well as Terminator meeting Alien and Predator in a past real crossover, and most people know about the Robocop Versus Terminator crossover.
If an upcoming Terminator film, game, comic book, tv show, and so forth, were to feature any of the following: 1) Parallel Universes to see alien life, as well as other popular culture franchises for a huge crossover, and magical worlds of fantasy and adventure, 2) Afterlives to see any god and goddess of any religion of Earth, 3) Magical Entities such as Angels, Devils, Elementals, Demons, Demonics (magic beings that are related to demons, but are not entirely demon), Fairies, Mythical Monsters, etc., 4) Gods and Godddesses that would come down to Earth bestow both Magic and Sorcery, and so on, what would the people prefer?
If an upcoming Terminator film, game, tv show, comic, and other form of media, should feature Magic and Sorcery, then what type of magic and sorcery should it be?
Just to be clear, I am talking about Magic and Sorcery from Fantasy, Magic, Fairy Tale, Occult, and other genres about arcane and sorcery, such as Final Fantasy, Harry Potter, Bionicle, Heroes of Might and Magic, Star Wars, Rayman, Mario, Sonic, Naruto, Bleach, etc., and I just want to know which one of those would people want in Terminator installments of the future.
What's the correct timeline order of all the Terminator Movies as I think that Terminator: Rise Of The Machines, Terminator: Salvation and Terminator: Genisys are just out of the timeline if we consider The Terminator, Terminator: Judgement Day and Terminator: Dark Fate are in proper timeline sequence.
Hey everyone, I recently spent several months on a Terminator project that merges all of the timelines.
Terminator: The Dark Years is a fan-edit/proof-of-concept for the complete story of Kyle Reese, John Connor, and the Resistance during the future war.
Using repurposed footage from the entire franchise including films, tv shows, games, and even theme-park attractions, this is a story featuring Christian Bale, Linda Hamilton, Anton Yelchin, Michael Biehn, Edward Furlong, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Summer Glau, Brian Austin Green, Jason Clarke, Mackenzie Davis, and more surprises.
In this alternate future, all of the characters from the films and tv shows co-exist. The timeline keeps repeating and making minute changes. As the story unfolds, familiar moments play out in dramatically different ways.
I've added blood to several scenes to return the series to its horror roots and give the film a bleak tone.
The intention of this project is to create something nostalgic, yet new. I hope to appeal to every Terminator fan.
